How does Reverse Osmosis work?

Reverse Osmosis is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids (such as salts) are removed from water. With a Reverse Osmosis system, tap water is pushed with pressure through a semi permeable membrane. This membrane allows only the water to pass through, not the impurities or contaminates. These impurities and contaminates are flushed down the drain. The result is purified, mineral free great tasting water.

Is installing a RO system hard?

Installing a Reverse Osmosis system is not too challenging for the typical home owner. Any handy homeowner with basic skills can get the job done fairly easily. On a scale form 1-10, 10 being the hardest, it would be a 3. So most people can get the job done without a sweat. About 95% of home owners can do it themselves. If you are really lost, then ask a plumber to install your system. They will install your system in a nick of time.

Why Buy Online?

RO ystems are one of the items that are a no brainer to buy online vs. a traditional retail store. Prices on RO systems are almost 2-3 times more expensive in a brick and mortar store than online. You can save hundreds of dollars on the cost alone. Not to mention we have FREE shipping on every Reverse Osmosis system.

What does Erin Brockovich think about Reverse Osmosis systems?

"You Can Actually Smell The Difference!"

"Yes, I have a water-filtration system at home. A lot of reverse-osmosis systems work very, very well. A lot of people are having issues with our municipal system and all the added chloramine, and people are getting sick and municipal systems may be letting higher levels of chloramines come in than they should. reverse osmosis water filter

I know that that can be an issue with the tap, so I test it myself, and I have to tell you, I can fill a glass from my tap and set it down with my reverse-osmosis off, and then turn it on, fill it up, and you can actually smell the difference."

What Is Reverse Osmosis Anyway?

Good Question.

Reverse Osmosis has been used for years as a method of purification for both surface and ground water, as well as a desalinating agent. The process involves water purification in which pressure is applied to reverse the natural flow of water. This process forces water to move from the more concentrated water solution to a weaker state. The then semi-permeable membrane is porous allowing water to pass through but not before blocking the harder bulkier dissolved solutes. The basic result is pure water, free from unwanted minerals while all the “bad water” is left behind.

Reverse Osmosis is one of only a few ways to take unwanted minerals such as arsenic, nitrates, sodium, copper and lead, some organic chemicals, enamel fluorosis or the more severe skeletal fluorosis (which can be very harmful to bones) out of the drinking water.  Our Reverse Osmosis systems also take out fluoride and other impurities commonly found in water that charcoal based filters (which most homes have) cannot.

This leaves some of the best quality drinking water you can find right under your sink. You can forget about constantly buying jugs of water or using harmful and unhealthy tap water to drink from. The RO system will pay for itself replacing the need to buy expensive bottle water. It is commonly known that most bottles water is just tap water filtered!!  So save money, time and your health today!

Reverse Osmosis systems are also healthy for the environment as they produce no chemicals that go back into ground water. Some home purification systems will create a by-product of excess chemicals that can harm the environment.

The taste from RO systems is pure joy!  If your water contains minerals, smells bad, tastes funny then you will love these systems. Suffer no longer with bad water and find the perfect Reverse Osmosis system for your home today!
